PLATO

 

  • On February 2011, I've been nominated Senior Scientist at ASI Science Data Center for Gaia (see the other page on this website) and PLATO mission.
  • PLATO (PLanetary Transits and Oscillations of stars) is one of the three medium class (M class) missions selected for definition study in the framework of the ESA Cosmic Vision 2015-2025 program.
  • A good reference for PLATO is the ESA website. For what concerns the italian partecipation, please refer to the webpages of the Catania Observatory
